Research Topics

Our lab focuses on two topics:

Topic 1: Evaluating, testing, benchmarking and debugging (real-time) operating systems for single and multi-core systems including virtualisation. This topic goes on for already 20 years in collaboration with Dedicated Systems company. The result of this work can be downloaded.

Topic 2: Designing and developing a generic platform for swarm embedded intelligence. This includes the design of smart adaptive scheduling systems for safety critical applications. this is applicable in the IoT domain and in the swarm robotics field.

The lab is headed by Prof Martin Timmerman. A number of PhD and Master students are participating in the research.
